“Solid in colour, solid in flavour richness, indeed, it’s all round solidly Heathcote. Weighing in at 15.1% alcohol, it has been more than up to the task of receiving French and American oak (25% new) for nine months and the result is a generous mouthful of flavour. Deep purple hues. Rich aromas rich in blackberry, bramble, plum, dark spice and dusty cocoa. Puts on a full-bodied show with layer upon layer of spice wrap around black fruits, chocolate and a mineral-like ferrous earthiness.
