The Shiraz 2023 is a worthy successor sourced from the same Heathcote vineyard. 2023 was a cooler vintage resulting in a wine with similar generous Heathcote fruit character but with more refined structure and complexity.
Tasted May 8, 2025 “The aroma is lifted and vibrant, with notes of blackberry reduction, cedar, leather and cloves. Fruitful palate with blackcurrant & plum, persistent velvety tannins. Medium plus weight and balanced acid develops to a bright back palate with black olive finish. Cellar potential 10+ ”
