2023 Kyneton Ridge Cabernet Shiraz
Inky purple in colour; a modern take on the classic Aussie Claret tradition. Blackcurrant, cassis, plum, dusty red earth, cupboard spice, and lifted mint aromas. Follows on the palate with ripe blood plum, fruit cake, black cherry, tomato vine. Crushed brick and flinty minerality, grippy tannins enlivened by a bright acid drive. Concentrated, persistent, and perfect with pizza, pasta or protein.
